Last night at LA Live in downtown Los Angeles, SA Studios and Warner Brothers hosted a VIP premier viewing and party for the highly anticipated movie “Gangster Squad.” The evening was hosted by Mister Cartoon and Director Ruben Fleischer. The film stars Sean Penn, Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone, and focuses on the 1940′s story of Mickey Cohen as he tries to take reign over Los Angeles. Right after the premier at LA Live, the after party reflected the spirit of the film and featured the official ‘Gangster Squad’ car designed by Mister Cartoon, pin up girls, custom painted vintage cars as well as inspirational art and photos from the era. The movie will be released in all markets January 11, 2013. I’m no movie critic but I will say this the movie was great and I highly recommend it!
